Description

The listing, 28 beautiful items in memory of my beloved cat has ended.

My 15 year old cat had just passed away today the 28th of April at 2:35.

A little bit about Gibbous (Gir-Gir).
She loves the backyard. She was in her healthiest state when she's became an outdoor cat in the backyard. She was our Queen of the Garden Cat. Her weight went back to normal. Gaining her other cute nickname "football."
She's a wonderful and beautiful family member.

In memory of Gibbous, I have found and listed jewelry and collectible that reminds me of her when I think of her- beautiful plants, flowers, bugs and birds.

Even though she is the color of the moon, I think it suits her to have a green cat brooch. I didn't want to give this brooch up because it looks like her, but I need to Let go and share the memory of her. Most of the jewelry and collectible I put up are what I think of her as a nature cat surrounded with beautiful greens, flowers, bugs and birds.

There are variety of items: A few marked 925/Sterling (cat pendant necklace, Circle of Life pendant ), 1/20 12K gold filled (double hearts bracelet), Everson Dragonfly Canada (white blue butterfly with black cord), BeauJewel (blue bead earrings), Gold Crown Inc (butterfly pendant), Cabotine (perfume bottle), Ultra Craft (cat looking through fishbowl), All My Baskets (pansy-missing a rhinestone). The blue rhinestone acorn screw back earrings are bright and beautiful but missing 3 stones.

To You Gibbous (Gir-Gir) wherever you are in spirit world with Sangy (our other beloved cat who passed away last summer) now. But you will always be in our heart and spirit.

Now rest in peace and become part of Earth and care for our garden once more. You will always be part of The Circle of Life. Your everlasting love will always be with us. I miss you so much! Waah!

What a beautiful memorial to her in your Garden. I just adopted a cat from the Shelter 5 weeks ago and she's already such a huge part of our Family. They really are our furry children.

Thank you. Enjoy you cat and the unconditional love he/she brings you. I think Gir Gir had enjoyed her 15 years of life with us. We enjoyed the 15 years we had with her. It's just so hard to let go and have to feel that empty feeling.

So sorry for your loss... looks like Gir Gir was a once in a lifetime cat. Some cats love you so much they leave paw prints in your heart. My husband and I had to let go our beloved 15 year old kitty, Lucky just over a year ago. This boy was my husband's hands down favorite cat of his 25+ years of raising cats... it was a hard loss to take. But there is a small comfort that Lucky is no longer in any pain and he was so loved. I believe that humans and animals really do enrich each others lives and you were so blessed to share that kind of relationship with Gir Gir. Your grief will ease and the good memories will remain. Holding you in light & love...that your heart will heal. Blessings! =^.^=

Lovely lot, watching.I am so sorry for your loss! She looked like she was one in a million. There are regular animals and those special ones that are just family.I know it is some comfort thinking of her life outside with you all. That she was free to smell the smells and see the sights of nature and enjoy the outdoors.Just being able to lie in the sun or enjoy the shade. To be Gibbous!Yes,I know house cats live longer supposedly and all but I never had much luck of keeping them in.My favorite cat Simpson was the only one that wanted to be in.We used to set him outside. As soon as his paws touched grass he would run back in.He was content to sit in the windows. But if I was a cat I know I would love the garden!!!To smell the flowers and chase a skink lizard and rub ankles and be fed and loved on!What a great life she had!As much as you miss her was truly how special she was and will be!I pray for comfort in your time of grief.

Thank you. Beautifully said. Gibbous had the best of both. She was an indoor cat for half of her life. We introduced another cat or too crowded. She didn't like it and was infested with flees, scrawny, sickly and always stayed in the garage even in the hot summer. With the most expensive working flee med, the flees would come back another month or two. So we decided to take the chance either for her to be happy and let her be in the backyard even though we had fear of her getting run over by car or get lost and other things running through our mind. Oh boy, as we put her outside, we watched her rubbing and stretching the cement path under the sun. Wow, she got all these natural vitamin D she needed. In month she was plump and back to the football shape she used to be. She lived outside in the backyard for about 6/7 years. She was still healthy. Her sudden death was a shock due to sudden blindness and got lost in the backyard for a day until we found her and couldn't rescue her. She passed away in the house with us around her the next day at the same time we found her.

Our very first three out of the four including Gir Gir passed away. Then I have the8 latter ones that we rescued. We had strong bond to our first four members. It will be hard again when our 4th one go. He's getting to that age as Gir Gir.

I am so sorry for you loss. I know how hard it is to lose your little friends. We got a Siamese cat when I was 10 years old and had her for 20 years. I still have dreams where she tells me she's always been here I just couldn't see her. One day we will get to see them again.

Yes. I believe when we are in our dream state, we communicate with our love ones better. It' nice that yours did that. You had your cat when you were young and she lived to 20 years. It must be very devastating to you too.

I know it's very hard for me. I miss her so much, but I felt that I was giving her that I could. Even I wasn't aware of it, when I was outside with her, I would brush, talk, and pamper her for those several weeks in the garden. When her last day came, I was up all night with her until she took her last breath. I was with her all the way. So enjoy your elderly furry children, you just don't know when their time is up. Who knows yours might live up to 20 years or more. It's very hard, but knowing that you given them all you got will help ease the pain.

So sorry for your lost. We lost two 19 year old cats last year. It is no fun seeing a fur child pass on to the rainbow bridge. We do have 4 cats and our small dog Sage. We have a pet sit business and get connected with the pets we sit for....a couple of clients lost a dog and cat...we get sad along with the owner. This is the hard part of our small business.

It's painful where in my mind I'm telling myself I don't want to be attached to another one. But then we must see the many joyful years that our furry family members will bring us. The downfall of having cats or dogs? They don't live as long as us.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know your pain. I have put my Dear, cute Gordo on here as well. That's him to the left. He was a French Bulldog, we had for only 4 years. I had to euthanize him after he started having seizures & deteriorated. We called him Gordo because he was kind of on the chubby side. He was so cute!! I miss him still- but I know there is a dog (& catl) heaven & he is there snoring, digging, chasing squirrels & being a cute pest. My deepest regards!

Sorry about your loss too. Same here-I'm imagining Gir Gir passing around the garden, sprawling and rolling in the sun, sleeping in flower pot and in the empty birdbath and keeping guard in the garden. Lol.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your beloved Gir-Gir. I have cats of my own (adopted) and would be devestated if one of them passed-away. My heart goes out to you.
Though you're letting go of the items that remind you of her, I know she'll always be in your wonderful memories. Blessings to you and your family.

Thank you for all your condolence. Yes. It's very difficult even though I know time will heal. She and Sanguine were the first two we adopted 15 years ago. Sanguine passed away 9 months before her and that was devastating for us, especially my husband. They bonded so well. That cat was like a dog. He followed us and when called he would come and sit or sleep next to us. LOL. Now Gir Gir, like part of me is gone.
