The listing, New Year 1907 postcard has ended.
Nostalgic postcard reading Wishing you a Happy New Year 1907, postmarked on the back Dec. 31, 1906.
I don't get the writing on the front, written in fountain pen. Presumably the name is of the sender, but below that is written "one of" then "her" or "herr" of "few" -- I can't tell, then "Kaiser Wilhelm II." Must have been an inside joke. This card is of course before World War I broke out. By the way, a year later, Kaiser Wilhelm the II would suffer a nervous breakdown, although I'm sure that is unrelated to this postcard.
Card is in rough shape, with a little tear at the top and bottom and some stickies on the front where it probably stuck to something on top of it. That said, it's a cool old card -- the little girl on the front is printed in relief and while I don't know what the gold crest is on the back, I'm sure this card would have been printed in Germany because of its age.
Card will be protected in archive-safe postcard sleeve.
