Hello hsabooks,

In order to have better results with this auction, please add more details regarding your item. Your auction is missing a description or picture. These two things will go a long way in instilling confidence in potential bidders. We also highly recommend that you include pictures of the actual item that is being auctioned, (not just use stock photos from the manufacturer). For higher valued items, please include a notecard or piece of paper with your Listia username in one of the pictures of the actual item. This will also reduce the number of questions that your bidders will ask, and most importantly, you`ll get the best results with your auction.

Thanks for making these changes and good luck with your auction!

I don't want to sound snobbish or hateful or whatever, but how much better results do you think I can have with my auctions? Tell me one more thing that I can tell about this item....it is a mag and all that anyone needs to know is told. If YOU have a specific question about it, ask. I am on Listia from 6 to 8 hours every day; seven days a week; more if my other four sites are not busy. I answer any question that I can about any posted publication I have and if you will keep checking ALL my listings, you will find that I rarely have a question asked...and if I do, it is usually from someone who lists maybe three or four auctions a month and can't bid unless they can see a picture (run a survey of Listia pictures and find out how FEW are of the actual item being auctioned!), and wins one along, usually that has free shipping. Please accept this in the manner I mean it, but I don't need "better results" on Listia. I can barely keep up with my packing and shipping. And right now, I am down to 53 auctions when it should be 100 (or over when I am allowed). If you really want us to have better results, you could lighten up on the 7-day rule which some bidders push to the extreme, and as far as I know, LIstia is the only site that has such a rule. You also could remove some feedbacks that are spiteful because someone did not like the way we do. I do not think anyone should be allowed to state in a feedback that the other person is a liar, a thief, a religious nut, etc. If they are such, they should be reported to Listia and let Listia get "the facts" and throw one of the people off the site. And if you would really like to know how Listia can help us get "better results" from our auctions, email me and I will be glad to really "unload" about the problems that some of us who are trying to help Listia really become something WE can be proud of encounter.

Thanks for the nice words! And welcome to Listia posting! I do not understand the "value" some of our counterparts place on this "badge thing", but I helped you all I can: I clicked "watch", giving you one count there, I opened the bidding for you even thought I am VIOLENTLY opposed to men my age (Oh, I forgot to introduce myself: I am Noah's younger brother.....and you have no idea how hard we had to work to get all those animals in that ark!!!) wearing earrings. But surely someone will out bid my little bid, as they look nice: even to an earring hater!!! And I fanned you! If you decide to really wade into Listia, you might send me an email (hotsprgs2@aol.com) with any questions you have and I can give you some "free" advice. I think most of these messages can be read by everyone, and I do have a couple of "secrets" that might help you....if you really jump in as the water runs deep in Listia!!! I have got to quit all this rambling and get to posting. I am down to 51 auctions, with books stacked all around me waiting to be posted. Good luck; hope you enjoy Listia in spite of some of the pitfalls! Jay
