This listing is for a very special set of black freshwater pearls. It's a necklace with an easy retail value of $80 or more. I have had a friend of mine who used to be in the pearl business inspect them when I bought them & he verified for me that they are real. The necklace is a double knotted string style with a 14K white gold filled box "tab insert" clasp - stamped 14/20. The pearls vary slightly in size, but average is 6 mm. It will come in the jewelry box pictured. I'm sorry, but my camera is a little bit old, so I cannot get a picture of the stamp on the clasp. The necklace length is a nice 17 inches.
I have sold a few of these, but I've got a few set aside for my Listia friends to have a chance at. :)
Personally, I think these would make excellent Mothers Day gifts, but it would work as an excellent gift for any choosy woman (even if she is you. ;) ).
