Description
The listing, 1930 French Dime and 2003 One Peso has ended.
Here we have some foreign currency, a 1930 Silver French dime in good condition and a 2003 one dollar peso also in good condition.
note. Not the last two photos of the French Dime are not actually dime but used to show closer view of what they look like. Even though the dime is in really good shape it does have a small hole towards the top of the coin.
Questions & Comments
Could you please tell me more about your French coin?
French 10-centime coins made 1920-1945 all have holes through the center, and are not made of silver. The last French 10 centime coins minted in silver were struck in the 1800's.
The picture you posted of the coin looks to me like it has a date of 1922. Also, the $ symbol is used on Mexican coins and means pesos, and has no connection to the American dollar. I hope you're not offended by my comments, but I thought maybe someone had been dishonest when they sold you these coins.
Thank you for the info, no, I am not offended, I came across these coins by accident, my mistake if the french dime is not silver. I assumed that it was silver so thanks for clearing that up, I don't want to deceive anyone if it is not silver. I looked again to make sure and the French 10 cent coin does say 1930. Yes, the mexican coin does say 1 peso.
