The listing, Knights Templar Masonic Gold Plated Coin has ended.

This beautiful coin is clad in .999 24k Gold in a shimmering mirror finish.

The base metal is copper, finished with a layer of fine Gold (100 mills thick).

Diameter: 40mm (1-9/16 inch) Thickness: 1/8 inch.

The front of the coin contains the cross shield of the crusaders. The coin is engraved with: "Non nobis domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuoda gloriam", which is Latin for: "Not unto us, not unto us O Lord, but unto thy name, give the glory "Pauperes commilitones Christi Templique Solomonici hierosalemitanis", which means "The Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon" Engraving is on the front and reverse of the coin.

This coin represents The Knights Templar order affiliated with Freemasonry. Unlike the initial degrees conferred in a Masonic Lodge, which only require a belief in a Supreme Being regardless of religious affiliation, the Knights Templar is one of several additional Masonic Orders in which membership is open only to Freemasons who profess a belief in the Christian religion.

The reason I have it listed for so many days is so everyone who might be interested in it has a chance to see it. Also the GIN is now disabled by Listia. Once bidding reaches half of the GIN - Listia disables the GIN. So as soon as someone bid or went over 8000 credits for this auction - Listia disabled the GIN.
