Photo depicts a different cover than I have, but I couldn't find it on the internet and camera's flash made it impossible to see when I shot this one.

Synopsis:
House on Haunted Hill is the tale of five people invited to stay the night in a haunted house by an eccentric millionaire, Fredrick Loren, who is throwing the "party" for his fourth wife, Annabelle, with the stipulation that the power will be out and all doors will be locked at midnight, allowing no accessible escape. Anyone who stays in the house for the entire night, given that they are still alive, will each receive $10,000.

It is kind of funky, because it is old...
but VIncent Price (who you probably remember as the voice from the grave in "Thriller", and the scientist in Edward Scissorhands" is wonderfully sinister young man. If you like this genre, but can't tolerate B&W, there is an updated version, only a few years old available on Amazon and Half.com. Another good ones areTwice Told Tales, The Pit and the Pendulum, The Body Snatchers (not the one with Kevin McCarthy or DOnald Sutherland...though they are good in the scifi genre)
