Yea that scene was both awesome and disturbing to me as a kid.

Of the four autobots that were killed in that scene Prowl and Ironhide got the worst of it Prowl burning inside and fire coming out as he was destroyed still is one of the most disturbing scenes in movie history

I'm 26 years old and I still get chills from that scene no matter how many times I watch it Ironhide at least try to stop Megatron only for him to be destroyed by Megatron with the Such Heroic Nonsense line one of my favorite lines in the movie and Megatron had the grin as he killed Ironhide he was like the terminator no remorse just did it with a smile on his face
