First - It is silver-plated, so NO, it WON'T turn your wrist green. Second - If you want to add charms, you will need to follow certain directions: First, Both ends unscrew, but only unscrew 1 end at a time. Unclick the Stopper Bead on the end, and then Remove & then remove the black round rubber gasket that goes under the stopper bead. BE CAREFUL NOT TO LOSE THIS GASKET, AS THE STOPPER BEAD WILL NOT WORK WITHOUT IT!. Next, Decide which bead, spacer, or charm to remove. You will have to remove something in order to add anything. Next, Carefully slide beads, etc. off the bangle as far as needed. (Carefully, so you know which order to put them back on!) Remove whatever you have decided to remove on the first side, then replace with new charm(s). Next, Replace the beads and charms in the same order that they came off (except without the removed item(s) and with the added charm(s)). Once they are all back in place, replace the black rubber gasket, clamp the stopper bead over the top, and then replace the screw end. You can repeat the process on the other side. I would suggest printing a photo of the bangle, or at least have it on your screen while adding charms, so you know the order to replace the beads and spacers etc. without just guessing. Kim
