Bells of Ireland, also known as Shell Flower and Molucca Balm, form dramatic spires of green. At their best, they will get 3ft. tall with fragrant green blooms.

They can be sown outdoors in spring as soon as the ground can be worked. Sow in place after last frost. Do NOT cover the seeds. They need light to germinate. To prevent toppling, plant them in areas protected from high wind. They can also be staked. They mature rapidly and do not rebloom. For longer show, start seeds at different intervals. They reseed themselves readily.
