I am clearing out a bunch of VHS movies, as I am out of room. I will list them all in separate auctions, staggered over the next 10 days. Please check them all, and if you win let me know if you are still bidding on others, so I can save on shipping. They will all start at 499 credits (this covers my shipping costs, so you don't have to pay any). The auctions will not be re-listed, so anything that does not sell will be donated to a local mission here. Blue Sky [VHS] Starring Jessica Lange, Tommy Lee Jones, Powers Boothe, (1994)
Jessica Lange deserves three cheers for her performance as an army wife in the early 1960s. Sensuous and unpredictable, Lange bridles at the restrictions in her life and is constantly seeking attention. Tommy Lee Jones is the nuclear engineer who adores her, but is just as passionate toward his career. Lange and Jones sizzle in spite of a weak plot tangent concerning the military cover-up of nuclear testing in the Nevada desert. The love story is everything as it bursts with undercurrents of passion, regret, sorrow, and joy. Lange's sexy, high-strung performance earned her an Oscar. It was director Tony Richardson's last film.

The Sure Thing [VHS] Starring John Cusack, Daphne Zuniga, Anthony Edwards and Boyd Gaines (2000)
Two mismatched college students (John Cusack and Daphne Zuniga) find themselves trapped together during a cross-country road trip, trying to make it home for the holidays. She can't stand him, and he just wants to get to L.A., where a sexy "sure thing" is waiting to greet him with open arms. It's not hard to predict where this sweetly old-fashioned romantic comedy is going to end up, but along the way there are many pleasures to be had.
