The listing, VHS MOVIE SALE: "OPENING DARWIN'S BOX" & " Eyewitness - Dinosaur" (1995) has ended.
I am clearing out a bunch of VHS movies, as I am out of room. I will list them all in separate auctions, staggered over the next 10 days. Please check them all, and if you win let me know if you are still bidding on others, so I can save on shipping. They will all start at 499 credits (this covers my shipping costs, so you don't have to pay any). The auctions will not be re-listed, so anything that does not sell will be donated to a local mission here. If you win an auction and really do not want one of the movies, let me know, and I won't bother shipping, and will donate it to the cause. Thanks for looking and good luck.
Opening Darwin's Black Box: An Interview with Dr. Michael Behe (Evolution vs. Intelligent Design) [The Princeton Video Series] VHS VIDEO ($24.00 on Amazon)
(VHS Video) Brace yourself for a cultural earthquake. The New York Times was the first to report strange tremors coming out of the biochemistry lab of Dr. Michael Behe of Lehigh University, a professor specializing in DNA and protein structure, had just published a new book, Darwin's Black Box, which argued that Darwinism utterly failed to explain the origin of the amazing complexity of sophisticated systems inside the cell. In fact, said Dr. Behe, this "irreducible complexity" could only be the work of an intelligent designer. The fact that so many leading science journals have wrestled with Behe's provocative book shows that the science of origins may have reached a turning point. In this video, filmed in Michael Behe's research lab, we learn how he evolved into a "skeptic" of Darwinism.
Eyewitness - Dinosaur [VHS] Starring Narrated By Martin Sheen (1995) Another fine entry from Dorling Kindersley's Eyewitness series. As with their books and computer software, the video clearly presents and dynamically illustrates numerous facts about those beasts from 65 million years ago. Martin Sheen narrates this program that explores what paleontologists have uncovered in the last 200 years.
