I really don't know. I'm not a coin collector, I just have a few old coins. I think it has something to do with the State it came from, but honestly I don't know. I'm sorry that I couldn't help you.
I just looked it up online. it says the "E" is actully an "F" and stands for (James) Fraser. He was the artist that had designed the coin. if there was a mint mark it would be under the buffalo on the back. Hope this helps. It helped me. I'm watching your auction.
beccasman, are you watching and bidding on this item? The reason why I ask is because I had this man hassle me for over 12 hours yesterday, from 3:40pm till 4:30am stating that he was going to watch every move I made with my listings and that he was going to email every person who would bid on any of my items that I will ever list and sabotage my auctions. I do not have a clue of who this man is or the reason behind him harassment. But for over 12 hours yesterday he continuously harassed me by with comments and emails, I just am wondering if he has gotten to you. I am going to report him. I do not have a clue why he was picking on me till 4:30am. I have never had a dealing with him. I do not know much as all about these coins, they were giving to me after my Dad passed in 2008. The information I get for the coins I have listed is by me searching the web. That is all that I have to go on. I'm sorry that I can not help you. Have a wonderful evening, Balinda
Thanks for the post ladies. I will watch for him myself. That is pure bull on his part. I hope he is reported and banned from Listia. This is one of my favorite auction sites. Have you guys tried webstore.com it is a nice auction site also that does not charge any fees.
Thank you, I will keep the webstore.com in mind. It just seem so weird that "some guy" (?????) made comments and sent messages to be for over 12 hours, all the way till 4:26 in the morning. He did freak me out!!!
