First go by size chart, not all 3xl will fit but some that are xlg will.
That's why we are very clear about going by size chart (measurements) because one item can be completely different than another. I hope this helps. I would have gotten these in smaller sizes but they didn't sell the dress only in sizes xlg - 3xl. It did come in a variety of colors but when I went to get some everything was sold out in this dress. I hope you find that black dress that you need, sorry it couldn't have been this one.
