I am not going to lie about this kind of thins since who says I will even win the auction I have no reason to lie and if I were to win and recieved them and found that they are tatal gold I wouldnt be able to keep them since I dont steal and thats what it woul be just because he doesnt know for sure what they are doesnt mean he should be out that money and for that matter I didnt have to even try to help figure out if theywere real I am doing everything I can so he at least knows what he is putting up.And for another thing you need a minting stamp to know for sure if there isnt one the only other way is to take it to be tested and graded. If he or you dont believe me there are all kinds of places you can go on line to check like bullion stacker so one. And if I was ling or thinking I was why would I want him to even take a better look at them I would have just left it alone and hope that he or no one else would look enough to figure it out I want him to be able to know the truth before they leave his hands. I do pray that I win so that if I get them and find out he will at least get them back if he so wishes if they turn out to be real. I have been dooped by some people saying that what I was getting was real and it was not and there is nothing I can do but hope and pray that when they were sent back I might get my credits back but that is not up to me it is them and being honest about the matter

to adfrascino the real gold dollars have a completely different back than these, these are most likely gold over copper, I have no clue why you are so driven to think and to convince other people they are solid gold, you need to do research and compare the designs instead of just saying "they are gold and worth thousands of dollars" just because they have a layer of gold over them, I guess my troy ounce gold plated copper bar is worth thousands of dollars too just because it has the look of gold on the outside, please do research and actually know what you are talking about before you go running your mouth, sorry but ignorant people make me REALLY mad.. again this is to adfrascino, not the seller. And to the seller, these are really great items even if they are just gold plated copper and you are a great seller

I am a US coin collector. there are not US gold coins. BUT there are many privet silver and gold mints like, silver town. that will desine and strike any coin you like, as m coin club did. we desined or won coin .999 pure silver, for our club members.
you can go to there site and they have pics of diffrent dies, and you pick what you like and tell them silver or gold. they strike it.
this maybe a possablety, but i dout it. but to be save you should take them down to any jewler and they test them right there, and that will answer all your question.

Interesting.....obviously "mules" (having an obverse from one coin and reverse from another) but I cannot find any info on them. Also, they are not technically monetary coins, they are medals; they have no denomination.
I would like to have one to study. Perhaps the winner will share? LOL

It is copper nickel and steel in a mix of different amounts in different coins most used during 2000 and 2005 is nickel and steel so that it looks silver if you were to melt it down. I hope to win since I like to have at leasr a copy of the coins I have yet to get then I give them to my son since he does the same thing

I just did a ton of checking for this auction and wanted to say I am very glad you didnt give false information like a few others do but anyway these are just clad coins and only for collectors that get them for their looks ther are several little things that tell you that they are not true gold and it takes a trained eye to spot these things. Thank you again for beibg honest as I have been gotten and it really sucks even more so when you are buying for your daughter that cant wear anything other then real silveer or gold or she starts to break out and swell..she came home from with her neck so bad I had to take her to the hospital. Now this was stampped 925 but since it was I didnt bother to test it and my daughter ended in the hospital because it wasnt what it was told to be. Again thank you so much. I am one for looks so I will be bidding and pray to win.
