You list your items & receive credits for them, in turn you use your credits on here to get items you want, the only money that changes hands is for the shipping fee which a lot of listings offer free shipping

Whoever buys your items may resell them and make money, but there are also collectors on here that will win items and put them in their collection and treasure them always

What's the origin of this thing? (Also, I think I saw a similar figure before--a guy was having it autographed by Burt Ward.)

I'll definitely say this--the headsculpt looks almost like Alex Toth's take in the Super Friends cartoons.

I am not familiar with that cartoon

They were the 70's cartoons that had Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman and Robin, and Aquaman, along with either Wendy and Marvin or the Wonder Twins.

Oh yeah, I remember now, just didn't recognize the Alex Toth name

Nice item. I am a little confused. If you bought it new in the 70's as I read in your description but your description reads dated DC 1988. I am interested in the item, I just want to be sure what date it is.

I did not say I bought this in the 70's and the copyright on the card on him says 1976, that's when the copyright was stamped on the card. In fact copyright laws changed in 1976 and had to be updated by every company. The actual item is stamped 1988. Below is how my description reads...

"Vintage, Unused, Never Displayed, Robin From Bat Man & Robin Series, On Original Display Stand That It Came On"

"This has been preserved and stored in my attic for years now and is in GREAT CLEAN condition"

I do apologize for any confusion I always give the most accurate description of my items so everyone knows exactly what they are bidding on. The card was stamped with the 1976 copyright, companies do not make new copyright cards every year for every product, that is where confusion comes in, copyright and the actual production date can very on everything out there. This is a 1988 Robin, an expert on an online collectors site confirmed that this is from 1988.

Thank you very much for asking : )
