Seeds were gathered last year. They need a long growing season so only those in the southern parts of the country should bid this time of the year. I live in zone 5 and need to start them no later than February. I'm going to attempt this fall starting one indoors in a planter and then transferring to outside in the spring. A fun an interesting plant though. Not just a scrubber but can be used for insulation, dog toys and can be eaten (when young and fresh not dried). Pretty yellow flowers, too.
