SURPRISE! NOT REAL DIAMONDS! NOT REAL GOLD! NO STAMPS! But they are the perfect size to pass for the real thing! My guesstimate is that each diamond is approximately 28 to 30 points each. That would put the total carat weight at a bit over 1/2 a carat......In case someone asks! These are fully faceted (52 facets each) quality CZ stones. They measure 6.3 mm long and 2.72 mm wide. Actually, each CZ is slightly different in size from the other just like real diamond earring! And just like quality diamond earrings, these have a 'friction' post! This means that there are a couple little divots in the post where the back goes on so that a bit of force is needed to secure the backs onto the posts so you do not lose the earrings! JUST LIKE THE REAL THING! (of course, there are also screw backs!). Oh yeah! The diamonds even have a natural 'bow tie' just like real Marquise cut diamonds! A 'bow tie' is an illusion that when looking straight into the center of the diamond, you will actually see a black 'bow tie' shape! Only on Marquise cuts. So, are we clear? Not gold, not diamonds, shiny and new, perfect size for passing as genuine! No 'over kill' here!
