Description

The listing, VINTAGE FRENCH COLONIAL FIGURINE / RED LETTER, JAPAN MARKED has ended.

This wonderfully Romantic Figurine is sweet & alluring, & accurately depicts the garb of that time in History, Circa the French Revolution. Both Men & Women wore wigs, satin, lace & bows & make up! The colors are soft & there are still traces of Gold accents. There is an amazing fluidity & one can see the garments Move, so to speak, even though the figurine is still! That is a talent, in an Artist. There is no maker's signature, but there are the numbers 7102 marked on the back for identification. There is a Baroque feel to this piece. It measures 9" x 3". Notice the Napoleonic Hat & Blue Boy, type shoes. So much detail!!!! A very nice Vintage piece & signed in Red Letters Made In Japan.
