If you know your gems, this is as good as it gets, a pure pigeons blood red ruby(takes alot of light to get the slightest pink from inspection). This Ruby is slightly over 2.5 carats, any larger and this would be a world class ring. You will not find a higher quality ruby.
Thick heavy band clearly marked 14k, The gold holds little value compared to the ruby though...
not your average gold ring this is a heavy and upscale piece. I would describe the color as jolly rancher red, but held to a bright light the ruby is clearly pink., It's never been re sized, I think it to be a 9 1/2 or 10.
Please use GIN it really is worth the money/credits any jeweler would be honored to set this gem, and scrap value is pretty high too weighing in at 7.9 grams!
