The listing, May Is Bi-Polar Awareness Month has ended.

May is, as well, Bi-polar disorder awareness month. Three out of four americans go with being diagnosised with it and the youngest a person can be diagnosed with it is 6 years old. Some it is a chemical imbalance in the brain while other say it's just unpure luck to have it. I know there are people out there in Listia land who may have it and may not want to be recognized for it.. Yet, if there is, please consider getting one of these Euro bracelets as a gift for a loved one. Please note: I will only do shipping to CANADA and Some Foreign Countries, please do not assume that I will do it all of the time. Please ask me before bidding!!!! It is quite costly and I would rather use my resources for homeland shipping!

Fanned and watching. i love these. i was diagnosised in the early 80's when i was in my 20's. i had no idea that there was even an awareness at all let alone a whole month. this can be a deadly disorder more than people can even comprehend. ty for listing this and letting others know we live among them.

I almost missed this!!
I try to do everything I can to increase awareness of this often deadly and usually misdiagnosed, misunderstood Disease!
I am involved in a ten year study at the University of Michigan wherein I answer a questionnaire every two months, and go for an annual visit once a year. They are working so hard to study the origin and the effects of Bipolar; and the best way to treat it! I am proud to be a part of this
I am proud to tell people I am Bipolar! I have a Disease, just like Diabetes or Heart Disease! I was finally Diagnosed in my 40's, as the inept doctors-due to lack of education-misdiagnosed me over and over and over. Even when they did make the right Dx, it took another 3-4 years to get my meds as close to perfect as possible!
Now, most people wouldn't even know there was anything wrong with me.

Thanks so much for making this bracelet, and making so many aware that May is Bipolar month. I will remember this in the future. Plus, I want it ;)
