Stop, Freeme2013 for a laptop she would need this one: http://www.listia.com/auction/9745591-brand-new-linksys-wpc54g-wireless-g, If she has a long slot on the opposite side of her DVD/CD rom Now if she has wireless abcgn already installed on the laptop then yes she would need the Wireless router "Chaps21" suggested. It's made to give you a wireless signal.
This unit is for a Desktop Computer to be installed in 1 of the pci slots. Usually will have to remove one of the slot covers on the back of your computers Motherboard Shield, On the case. I try to help where I can. Self taught computer builder and gamer.

me too, thanks for your help. you know anything about the evga GT520 video card? i bought one about 6 months ago and after 3 months it started getting hot and causing trouble. i contacted evga and they gave me a new one. after 1 month it started the same thing. i took it out. i have heard that you can overclock them (what ever that is) and use some kind heat control software and of this should work. what do you think?
