Thanks!.. while i can't find any mint marks on the belt buckle it is very pretty & detailed, with black inset around the border & is 3 1/2 X 2 1/2 inches :-)

Most makers mark precious metals to denote grade or content, or even where and by who it was made. like "900" & up is stearling (Silver) but more often Silverware is in the "800" range (silver content) *interesting huh :-)* >i think i got that right :-p you can "Google" it for more accurate info hun.. Oh, actually I knew that- didn't realize belt buckles were stamped. I have googled it because so often people on listia get things wrong and want to know if something is "pure silver", etc. And I have talked to jewelers and people who meld silver. I am constantly asked with my rings if they are .925 and often I can not see it because I have eye diseases. I have one listed now that I think is sterling silver but I can no longer read it, so I have had to say that I'm not sure. Recently I sold some old silver candlesticks and learned some more; at least I have learned something on listia lol.

I do things to0, on this property i manage people are constantly throwing out metals into the trash.. i collect the non feris ones to recycle (copper, aluminum, brass..) it amounts to a few hundred every 3 months or so. the last time i had some old Silver pots i included in the brass pile * they turned out to be Sterling!* :-) maybe a simple mag glass would help?

I use them but i really have bad eyes. right now they're worse because they're inflammed and the medicine is making my vision worse.
i know someone who makes like $600-$700 every month taking stuff out of dumpsters and recycling it. plus he constantly finds perfectly good stuff and gives it to his friends or the homeless, who are ecstatic to get clothes, etc. once he gave me a pair of completely nwot mudd boots. you could see they had never been worn. i sold them at my yard sale for $10... i can't believe the stuff people throw out... at least find a home for it or donate it...

I love pillaging.. don't worry about the eyes.. and sweet? He has his qualities... but overall I think he's sort of a jerk in some ways. I guess that's the one way that he's cool. I actually don't see him anymore...except by accident lol

You could sell the big stuff on craigslist... and you could LIST big stuff on listia and get 5-10 points for listing it and say "local pickup only" or whatever that option is... I used to sell at the flea market too. This is the longest running conversation between two people lol...
