Is this coin marked .925. I don't see a marking on the picture.

I think I can explain this, at least as best I can. Sterling is .925 Silver. Silver American Eagles are .999 Pure Silver .
1st........I guarantee these are 1971 Sterling Silver Proofs. Sterling Silver Proof is printed on each envelope just above the coin at the very top of each and every one I have listed. Sterling and a 5 digit number is engraved on the edge in a spot that is smooth where as the rest of the edge is reeded just like a silver eagle. I cannot get a picture unless I tear it out of the sealed plastic that surrounds the coin in the card. However, if you are careful and push on the plastic, you can see the engraved area on the coins.
If you win one I will take it back if it doesn't have sterling engraved on the side. Still have questions, please ask. I would be willing to take the coins out of the seal, take a picture, but then I couldn't seal them back?

OK ,I just seen where it said it is marked on the side. Anyway you can get a pic of that. You said it is 1 Ounce .925 sterling sliver, this should make a little over .92 of a ounce.

You are absolutely correct. I put .80 Troy Ounce, because you have to calculate between an ounce of pure silver and .925 silver and come up with .80 troy ounce.
My brain hurts now lol.

There are originally 6 in this set...do you have the Sea Bed coin? Or the folder with which they came?

Thanks...I am aware this had 6 coins originally. I am sorry to say I only have 5 and no binder. Plus the plastic holders have the side cut off where they fit into a binder? I am missing the sea bed one. They are still sterling silver coins/medals, but if you want the complete set, I saw on e someone had the complete set. Some have just one or two also selling them separate. They are worth the content of .925 silver and actually pretty nice. I wish I had all 6, but I don't. Ask any more questions.

I just had an idea? Whew! Scary...I thought of something that I think would be an idea that could be put to use.
Craft stores have 8 x 10 clear plastic sleeves that 5 x 7 photos fit into. This might work to enable one to at
least put these in a full size binder. The sleeves these are in have yellowed through the years and the sides were cut
off due to cracking and tearing? I do not have the sea bed one.
