OK, this may sound like a stupid question, but, are you saying that if you buy stuff at Michaels that says, "Swarovski Elements" that they are not real Swarovski crystals? I found a site online that sells Swarovski stuff and it titles a section for elements. I thought it was just a way of saying beads and findings instead of the gorgeous crystal figurines and such that they make. I guess I am all confused about what is real. How can they use the Swarovski name if it is not a real Swarovski crystal. Sorry if this sounds dumb but there may be others who are confused about this also. Thanks. And YES you have beautiful things.

They have permission to say that they use the same process to make them and they can name them the same colors as Swarovski. BUT they are NOT genuine Swarovski.
Check the price difference next time you see the "elements".
ITs a matter of taste.
Like Buying at a real jewelry store, or Walmart.
Something may even be pretty close in price but it was not made under the genuine process AT the Swarovski Factory in Austria. Its an imitation of them, made in a Joilee's factory in Utah or somewhere like that. LOL

No, it was not a dumb question and some folks on Listia count on you not knowing the difference to get high credits out of you all. I am an HONEST seller and will tell you the are Swarovski, only if they were made in Austria.

OK, well thanks for answering that question. I have always wanted to know. Now I don't feel so confident saying that I have used Swarovski crystals. I don't know where most of them come from when I win them on here. That just makes life a little more confusing. I don't think people are trying to lie, I just think they don't understand the difference either. I appreciate you letting me know that there is a difference and I will try to find out more about the beads I win. I can't believe how much you are getting for these earrings! WOW> Awesome for you. Wayy beyond my budget though.
