You are bidding on an antique sterling silver ring with genuine or authentic amber stone. The band is marked sterling and had been tested before I purchased this ring about 6 years ago. It is a big beautiful ring! Ring is a size 7!! Please ask any questions you may have prior to bidding! This ring will ship free! When I say free I mean free! I have had a few items shipped to me that were supposed to be free then when they arrived I had to go to the post office and pay for the extra postage to pick up my package! I will guarantee you that this will not happen when I ship my items! Thanks for looking and good luck!

I don't see any taxco mark inside the band but I do agree that it looks like a Mexico/taxco made ring.

Thank you everyone! Ironton OH is not near preble city that I am aware of. The next big town over that may be recognizable to some is ashland KY. Ironton is located in the very tip of Ohio! You could throw a rock across the river and there's KY! Lol

This looks like it might possibly be Taxco Jewelry made in Taxco Mexico, I have a 925 poison ring from Taxco...Taxco was known for the quality of the silver there, some of the purest in the world...looks handmade, as they all were made by apprentice silversmiths to promote the city and were all one of a kind pieces...are their any other marks like a TJ or a letter followed by a number or a mexico stamp..Most of the Taxco Jewelry rings were made to be adjustable but there were exceptions when the rings were ordered...Lovely ring

Thanks guys! This ring was bought at an estate sale which is where I buy nearly everything I own! LoL. It was tarnished nearly black when I bought it and my husband got ahold of it and cleaned it which I would have never done! I personally like the tarnish! I don't know all of its history unfortunately. I wish I knew more about it:( good luck to all who bids!
