It all depends on what I use to make the hat how tall it is but in general they are from 18"-24: Tall.Here is a list of recycled stuff I use to make them.
Hat-Plastic Margarine Bowl,Sour Cream Bowl or CD Spindle Lid.
Body-Large Oat Meal Container
Legs-Small Oat Meal Container
Shoulder Pads-Nesquik Lid cut in half or Bottom of Yogurt Cups
Arms-Bath Tissue Rolls
Hands-Styrofoam Eggs or Cut from Foam Sheets
Embellishments are cut from foam sheets
All clean items nothing dirty is used I assure you. =)
