The listing, Vintage Postcard: Violets and Birthday Wishes has ended.
Antique "Best Birthday Wishes" postcard has gold foil (not real) trim on ribbon, cottage and on edge of the violets. This type of printing may be called embossed? (The reverse shows an imprint from the front) Printed text on back says Printed in Germany, series No. 7067. Penciled note says from Merrill to Sophie(?) Sept. 2, 1914. No stamp or postmark. Card has yellowed with age and has a couple of creases on one corner and through the violets on the right side.
