Celebrating My 1000 Fans with this Lovely Antique From Estate Sale:)
I went on the hunt for the perfect item to put on to celebrate my 1000 fans this Morning. Here is what I found at one estate sale. I believe the cherubs are salt and pepper shakers and the center dish is for sugar. Great for someone who loves tea related collectibles!!!
This is made of a heavy metal and there is a patent # 07682 I did spend a little time looking on google images for something that resembled this but I could not find information. Very unique piece:) Thanks for looking. This will be shipped safely!!

Just amazing!!I'm always amazed by what turns up on here and this is no exception. This is probably a cast pot metal with a brass overlay. Yet another lost art. These kind of pieces used to be readily available and this one looks like it was very finely cast-the detail is great.What a sweet little precious treasure!

Thanks I am glad you like it. I try to find quality antique stuff when I shop. I avoid stuff that has noticeable seams in the metal or glass. Someone definitely put some thought and effort into making this. Thanks again the information helps us all be better PIckers LOL

I am not sure but I just checked to see if a magnet would stick to it and it did not stick. So it must be made of a non-ferrrous metal. I hope this helps you:)

My mom collects antiques. She says the center bowl was most likely for a condiment. Nice piece. We are watching. It is missing a spoon, but that's easy to replace

Thanks I have been lucky lately:) I live near some nice neighborhoods where it seems a lot of retirees are moving South and selling off a lot of their cool items!! I found a marble decanter with beautiful cups I will be posting in a little while and I met the owner and she gave me the back ground of the item:) I also found a set of sterling silver salt and pepper shakers. It was a awesome weekend.... subdivisions sales. My poor bank account LOL

i've seen one like this before and you put honey in the well and it had a glass spoon and the glass was smaller so the lid fit in the frame of the piece yes its beautiful
