this is a dell xps i took in as a trade in and refurbished it and installed everything fresh, this laptop is awesome, cosmetically i would say 8/10 because it has a small hair line crack near the battery, not loose or seperated, just a small hairline crack. performance wise its a 10/10, it has a slotted drive and audio/ video touch pad on the keypad,xps laptops are one of a kind, if you never had one, you do not know what your missing, i personally have an xps desktop and laptop and love them. this would make a great laptop for anyone, its a workhorse and has awesome graphics.

Just loaded a fresh install of windows vista 64, and reinstalled all the latest and updated drivers. I will be more than happy to install a year subcription of a 2013 antivirus for the winner also , or send a antivirus with, winners choice.

Well, everyone has the right to there opinion :) I personally do not prefer any windows or Mac, I'm a Linux man myself... But If I had to pick a windows or if I had to use a windowsos it's XP , I know some old head techs that to this day still use and swear by windows 95, now that's old school, but my thing is, whatever works for somebody works for them. Vista is a decent windows os, it's not as bad as windows 8 ! :)

true im running xp pro on my nc-6400 love it but if i would go newer it would be win 7 64bit all win 7 is is a polished xp pro but with may new and better things which include to go beyond 4gb ddr2 or 3 ram to 128gb 8gb to 16gb is way plenty but im maxed out at 4gb drr2 667 someday i will upgrade when the credits or cash comes in good luck on ur awesome auction
