Just out of curiosity, what is the base metal that the Clad in Gold & what is the percentage of Gold?
FYI: Definition of Gold Clad: "It means "dressed in gold", if you're referring to a person, but this is a very old-fashioned expression. If you mean a coin or other metal object, gold-clad means that gold is bonded to another cheaper metal and is similar to gold plating. The amount of gold used is minimal, so if you were thinking of buying a coin or other gold-clad item, always ask what percentage of the metal is actually gold. You'll find it usually isn't very much."
I hope this helps your bidders as some of them seem confused about the gold.
