Hi Candy12 - I don't make the soap. It came from a local vet's office. They've told us that it repels bugs (it has a scent). Thanks for your interest, & good luck on bidding!

I just checked their website www.naturestouchsoap.com. Here's more about the soap from their description: "Great lather pampers your dog leaving your iy’s coat clean and shiny. Contains essential oils of lavender, tea tree, cedar wood & eucalyptus all of which help repel insects."
