Description

The listing, DRAGON FRUIT CACTUS SEEDS! has ended.

The seeds to this dragon fruit are FRESH and drying now! The taste of this fruit is of sweet kiwi!
I offer 25+ seed
Once seeds have sprouted, it will take 2 years (depending light, water, soil and heat conditions) but once the cactus is around 10 lbs. weight (not sure if that means roots and cactus) that is the time they will flower and fruit...depending on your conditions.

They grow in warm climates, people I talk with grow them well in Cal, Texas and Florida but you can grow these in pots, leave out in spring and summer then bring it in when weather turns cold. Thats how I grow mine because in northern Pa we get extreme cold.

Did you mean it takes two years to germinate? For any green to sprout up out of the dirt?

Hi Christine, they germinate quickly within a week or two. The size of the cactus (I'm thinking roots and cactus) are what needs to be about 10 lbs in weight to fruit. That really isn't long compared to fruiting trees.

Sorry it took so long to answer your question, for some reason it is not alerting me in my e-mails. I sprout probably 10- 15 seeds then when they grow about 3-4 inches, I transplant but also have others that I left to grow together and they do fine.
