This auction is for a beautiful Morganite and White Topaz silver ring. There are small Morganite stones on the sides. The Topaz are difficult to see, they are chips really that cause sparlke on the side. Stamped on the side is a 925, you can tell there are 2 numbers before that but I dont see so well even with a mag glass. God help me. This is a size 8. Following is a quote off the internet somewhere:" Women the world over love morganite for its fine pink tones which radiate charm, esprit and tenderness." They are seen in pink, purple and orange-ish hues due to being part of the beryl group picking up their colors for the attraction of other metals to that group. Following is another blurb from the internet taken word for word: " The rule which says 'the more transparent, the more valuable' only applies to a certain extent, for there are plenty of women who would prefer a morganite with fine inclusions like pure silk. What is certain is that the cut really is a decisive factor, for only a high-quality cut will allow the subtle colour of the morganite to shine out."
