Any markings, such as the stamp that declares it as STERLING SILVER, is a tiny stamp in the metal- usually found on the clasp, and is stamped .925. This is the PROOF that the item is actually STERLING SILVER, without the stamp it is usually just silver PLATED, or silver TONE. Just FYI.
