Description

The listing, Mystery Assortment Vintage Barbie/Misc Dolls #4 **Read Description!** has ended.

I was given a bunch of old vintage barbies/dolls and a bunch of clothes and accessories for them as well. A few of them have handwritten tags that have dates in the 60's. I had hopes of trying to research and sell them on ebay, but it turns out figuring what barbie is what and how old it is can be pretty difficult and I lack the knowledge and know how to really get it done.

**Let me emphasize that I really have no idea about any of this. I had a complaint that some of this stuff wasn't Barbie. I know of some of it is, but beyond that I really don't know the difference in dolls or doll clothes.**

So I offer them up to you! I will have a few lots of these up for grabs. This will be Lot #4 of 5. Winner of the auction will get 6 or 7 random dolls and a random assortment of clothes and accessories. THIS AUCTION IS NOT FOR EVERYTHING PICTURED. It is a random assortment taken from what is pictured. I have already had 3 lots so some of this has already been sent out.

Anyway, I don't know what any of this stuff is worth, so you might get a gem here. And if nothing else, this is a great grab bag for a young girl.

$8.00 (via paypal) to negate some of my cost for shipping BUT will give free shipping if the bid manages to get over 9000 credits.

**Some of the dolls are worn or have some minimal damage to them, others are in excellent condition. Also, please remember that this is from a non-collector. Most of the damage/wear seems pretty insignificant to me, but I don't know what kind of damage or the extent at which this can degrade a doll's value.**

**Unfortunately since I am on Lot #4, I cannot take specific doll requests, as that some of what is in the photos has already been shipped out.**

Happy Bidding!

Are there any male dolls & male clothes left, that will be in this bunch? I only ask because my daughter has none & I would like to get at least one, if I bid on this auction. Thank you for considering my question. It is a wonderful auction. F&W

I had fewer male dolls than female dolls, but I tried to make sure there was at least one male doll in every lot that gets sent out. The clothes are pretty random and I think there were very few males clothes to start with, and I unfortunately did not pay so much attention to the type of clothes when I was dividing up the boxes. :P

I'm an avid Barbie collector, I could help you with info on certain items? Like, for example, in picture #1, the red haired doll wearing the long pink dress is the original Midge doll from 1963, sold thru 1967. The "Midge" doll was not released again until 1988.

I have my own original Midge (that a friend's aunt found in a dumpster) and she is the prize of my collection. (Midge has always been my favorite lol) She's one of the most valuable, if in good condition. :o)
