This is a vintage working acoustic guitar electric pickup. this was my first electric guitar. it is 34 years and still going strong. i don't play acoustic anymore so here it is.

So a few questions. On the second picture, what exactly is that thing? i have a Yamaha acoustic i want to install this on, but am not sure how. Does it have clamps, and where does the cord go?

It sits in the sound hole and has built in grooves to cradle it with a spring arm to apply pressure to hold it in place. the cord dangles down toward the floor just like a regular electric guitar.

cewoods It just sits in the hole the object in the second picture is a spring with a cap on it that kinda cradles the edge of the sound hole to hold the pickup in place. very simple to use.
