no i have not tried them. these are new. i never got a chance to use them. there is no name brand on them.

FYI - I've have one that looks like the one you listed, and have it installed in my Apple PowerMac G4 "Mirrored Drive Door" model and it works great. Mine adapts the IDE on the motherboard so that I can attach SATA drives. Usually the ones that adapt the SATA drives themselves are angled so that they will fit OK in the drive bays, the straight ones usually adapt the motherboards or add on EIDE cards from IDE to SATA to allow the installation of SATA drives on non-SATA boards.
