The size of this across the bottom is about 10 inches across, and from the zipper to the bottom of the bag is 5 inches. I hope this helps. This is a very cute summer or spring pocketbook. We are a non smoking home. I cannot see any flaws or stains on this other than what I mentioned and that is on the inside. If GIN is used, I am going to add a matching
