Great auction! Right on, Doc. I was going to say something about the World Championship cart as well, lol. http://www.1up.com/do/blogEntry?bId=9092309 Good looking out :)
here you go mike, this is from wiki, just go there if you like to read all about it
The Nintendo World Championships was a 1990 Nintendo-promoted video game competition that toured twenty-nine cities across the United States. It was based on scoring points in three Nintendo Entertainment System games (Super Mario Bros., Rad Racer, and Tetris) within a time limit of 6 minutes and 21 seconds. The competition was based loosely on the movie The Wizard.
OK cool thank you for the info . .i wish i would have known ..ill have to keep my eyes open from now on .to see what i can find .ill let you know if i find anything else too .i really really appreciate the info .
lol...well mike I am hoping that someone is me...:) you can count on me going all in when its showtimes...That world championship is the extreme in rareness when it comes to nes games, but you have some nice gems there too. and just the shear amount of them you are offering in one auction. So what I am doing is calculating the going average price of your collection so I know how credit I better have on hand the day of the close. If you like I could let you know privately. It's too bad you didn't know me before you listed them, I would of advised you to do smaller lots of 3 or 4 together, you would do a whole lot better credit-wise, plus being new, you could of racked up more sales and badges so you could do GINs. And when you reach trusted status, you will generally just make more credits off your items because more people will bid. Oh yeah, if you have any of the boxes or books that would of came with the games, you should add those, It will boost y the bids too. Makes the Carts worth even more.
i didnt know .thanks ...im trying to learn ..this is a cool site . i just hope they go good there's a few things id like to buy on here .ill definitely keep my eyes open .to see what i can find out there .i dont have any books or boxes just some plastic cases only a few ...what is the world champion cart ..thank you for the info .
LOL@world championship cart. Yeah Gamer wouldn't that be nice to find in a lot like this. That Cart sells used for $11,000 to $20,000. I am talking Dollars here not Listia credits. Mike this a great auction, I wish I had an idea how much it going to get up to, I have an nes, but lack any good games for it. So I take it you don't know much about the gaming systems. So Mike, if you have any questions about what you are auctioning on either listing, please feel free to ask me, I am pretty knowledgeable about the retro gaming systems.
hello DocDoobie i don't know much about this stuff .these have just been sitting around collecting dust .so i figured id get rid of them .lol..i didn't know they could be worth alot .thanks .hopefully some one will enjoy these
