Description

The listing, Day Lilies - 3 rooted shoots has ended.

Common, nearly indestructible orange daylilies. Hardy to zone four, at least. Not sure beyond that.

Time marches on. I will be sending chunks of the main rootball now rather that spring shoots like in the picture. this is likely a bonus - the older they are the tougher, and the sooner they will flower. I need to chop these old orangies back to make room in the middle for some reds.

I'm sorry but I have tons to trade, and just can't afford the shipping costs. If anyone would like a larger quantity, I'll be thrilled to "sell" them rather than throw them away. I can check shipping and post a special auction.

Do you only do PayPal or could the winner just send you stamps?

I Love DayLilies. Always Cheerful. Beautiful Colors. Low Water. And Reliable bloomers.

I would be interested in buying some-what price? How does a special auction work?

We discuss how much you want and what you're willing to pay (points and shipping) and I list an auction. I can't make it private, it's against the rules, but rest assured, if someone else outbids you I'll just list another until you win. Your best bet is with a priority flat rate envelope, so I can stuff more in without worry about the weight. Those are $5.50 for a medium and $10-something for a large. I'll have to experiment with how many will fit (WILD guess: 10-12 in med, and 25 in large). I would normally cut most of the leaves off to make room, but it's a trade-off. It won't kill them, but it will sap their strength and slow their growth, but only for a year.
Then, make me an offer for points. What matters most to me is not having to throw them away and not having to pay to get rid of them. They're really quite lovely, but dime a dozen in this region.

I could use 2 large flat rate boxes full! I have an erosion problem and daylilies are good for that and look pretty while doing the job!
