Just bought one of these, same brand, a couple months ago for my 11-year-old son. He loved it! I'm fanning, watching & bidding so I can get one for my other son! It's not a Victorinox, but it was a good value and an awesome gift for a young outdoorsman, boy scout/cub scout, etc. Thanks for listing it, welcome to Listia - even if your username doesn't inspire tons of confidence :) The fact that you respond to folks is a real good start.

Hi fyredan, good to hear from you, and thanks for bidding on the Multitool! I guess I can understand how my moniker might be a bit daunting, but it's actually a statement of being, more or less my way of coming to terms with a career ending accident that ended w/ me being disabled with a very bad back- thusly Crooked-Man, LOL! But don't let it worry you too much, it's WHAT I am, not WHO I am. Hope your son enjoys the knife if you win, and if not, chances are you'll see another up for auction in future so don't despair. I understand the career-ending accident and injuries to the back all too well. I was a professional firefighter when i got hurt by a collapsing roof. I've had several operations already, and based on recent scans of my upper back and neck showing spurs, stenosis, etc., I'mg likely have a couple more in my future. That injury ended my firefighting career, and that was a job I loved. Then I was on my way home from my public relations job when a logging truck rear ended me while I was stopped at a traffic light. That was the end of full-time work for me.
