Just bought one of these, same brand, a couple months ago for my 11-year-old son. He loved it! I'm fanning, watching & bidding so I can get one for my other son! It's not a Victorinox, but it was a good value and an awesome gift for a young outdoorsman, boy scout/cub scout, etc. Thanks for listing it, welcome to Listia - even if your username doesn't inspire tons of confidence :) The fact that you respond to folks is a real good start.
Hi fyredan, good to hear from you, and thanks for bidding on the Multitool! I guess I can understand how my moniker might be a bit daunting, but it's actually a statement of being, more or less my way of coming to terms with a career ending accident that ended w/ me being disabled with a very bad back- thusly Crooked-Man, LOL! But don't let it worry you too much, it's WHAT I am, not WHO I am. Hope your son enjoys the knife if you win, and if not, chances are you'll see another up for auction in future so don't despair. I'm new to Listia, still learning the ropes, and this is my 1st auction. chances are I'll bring a sampling of my eby offerings to Listia and see how people here like them, I'm looking forward to the experience. You take the prize, so far, for best comment that made me bust out laughing, and that definitely deserves me fanning you! You have a great day, and happy bidding!
Hey Crooked, you were one of my first auctions to bid on as a newbie as well. You seem to be a great guy reading some of your comments here. You do e-bay too eh? I never tried it. I recently became an amazon seller. Had about 17 sales already in a month, not too bad, a fun side hobby. Cheers.
I understand the career-ending accident and injuries to the back all too well. I was a professional firefighter when i got hurt by a collapsing roof. I've had several operations already, and based on recent scans of my upper back and neck showing spurs, stenosis, etc., I'mg likely have a couple more in my future. That injury ended my firefighting career, and that was a job I loved. Then I was on my way home from my public relations job when a logging truck rear ended me while I was stopped at a traffic light. That was the end of full-time work for me.
