According to this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182222 it says that the RX35-AT-SU3 SLV is for Sata drives but in the pictures you have one that has IDE. Also, how can it be new in the box if you took it out to take pictures of it?

Let us pause here and take a CLOSER look at the pictures ..........does the connections look like a SATA to you? And let us also pause again and READ the second like of the description: "This is NEW, NOT in box, NEVER USED!

Sorry about the not in box. I misread that. You must have the wrong model number because their isn't a reason that a IDE drive would be USB 3. Is the USB end that goes into the drive blue? If it isn't then it's USB 2.
