I'm 51 years old but felt like 80 a few months ago...the bottom of my feet (and sometimes ankles) were swollen, I was achy and stiff, my skin was ruddy and dry, and my hair was weak and would not grow. I looked through the cards, and researched what certain things from each food group did for the body. I knew that I did not get enough vitamin D, etc. so I looked for foods rich in that. -I just kind of gradually incorporated healthy foods that fit my needs. While I was learning, I simply had fruit and veggie smoothies with honey and one big meal per day, snacked on boiled eggs, fruits, veggies prunes, and almonds, rice cakes, herbal tea, (unless you are diabetic don't let people tell you you can't have sugar that's in fruits and such-your body loves it and will burn it off when you walk.) -I also gradually added a multi vitamin with biotin, vitamin D/Omega, Vitamin C, and a few grains of Bee Pollen after about 4 weeks. Anyway, I just didn't make it hard for myself, and made sure I walked for 15 min a day, I lost 10 pounds in 12 weeks, and I have no joint pain right now, my feet have no swelling.I swear when my hair stylist commented on my hair after not seeing her for over four months- I was sure it was working. She kept saying wow your hair is really healthy!! Only thing is -I don't know what did it exactly- but I feel so much better. It took about three weeks for me to really feel a huge difference.
