Issued in late 1944/1945, this stamp shows a rocket attack as part of a series of stamps honoring the German military. Rockets and missiles, developed by the Germans had started being fired at the allies. Show here are battlefield rockets but at this time England and Antwerp were being targeted by new V-1 buzz bombs rockets and the deadly V-2 missile.
