Watching - this is beautiful. I used to have 1 just like this. I wore it for yrs each year starting after Thanksgiving through Christmas until it tore up. Always wanted another one. I can't believe I found this listing! Awesome
the pin sure looks to be eisenberg, but looks like it is missing three stones on the front. a glorious piece and definitely under priced. lovely work, terriblack73!
This looks like an Eisenberg Ice brooch. See any markings of such? Yes, they come out with new one(s) every year. Throughout the year as well. One year for Christmas, I bought all the ladies in my life one of these.
WOW! I just looked on the back with a magnifying glass, there is definitely some kind of marking, but due to the age of the pin it is really hard to even make out.
Terri - It's pretty much like I said...Their jewelry just has that look about it. There's a brooch someone's wearing that's pretty, and then a lady walks up beside her with a brooch that just pops! It's Eisenberg Ice. They are like no other. Whether it's earrings, necklace, brooch or bracelet, you are immediately drawn to them. The cut of the stones must be part of it, that, and the quality of the metal they are using. They're always well worth the money you spent. I have some that I've had for 10 or more years, wash carefully, and the quality never goes down. Okay, I'm babbling about them here, but they are my fave!
It has to be one of them. I have looked at so many and I know this one is well over 20 years old. This pin just fits right in with the style and look of the jewelry of Eisenberg ice.
@craftmanic, I looked up Eisenberg ice and this pin really does look like an older version! I am really going to have to look at that marking or get it checked out by a jeweler.
I wet strolling thru eBay looking at Eisenberg Ice, and there is one exactly like this one for sale there. I'm pretty certain by looking at it that it is, as I've bought several of their pieces. They are stunning to look at, rather than just a brooch, is the best way to describe them.
On the fourth branch on the left hand side on the second picture is where I could see something written but the pin is so hold there is no way of seeing what is says.
