In Florida we call this the Purple Heart.. My sister-in-law use to own a nursery called the Funny Farm. you can grow indoors with proper lighting and air ventilation. Not if you use natural gas for heat or cooking, gas will kill your plants. outdoor shaded area recommended to keep the vibrant purple color. :-) nice and easy to grow.. ground cover or hanging baskets or even a mix planter or basket. :-)
