1980's Ladies Striped Seamed Jacket by Zelda with 1940's style embellishments
This is an absolutely stunning 1980's Jacket by Zelda - very incredibly sexy and flattering. I paid a large sum for this jacket, and never wore it, and now it's available for a fraction of the price I paid!
This jacket is meant to be an updated version of a 1940's jacket. Having collected Zelda jackets for many years, I believe this jacket is either a sample or prototype from their first manufacturing run, based on the design of the label plus the fact there is no lining.
This is a great crepe jacket in rayon. The color is a gorgeous dark black - very flattering and colorful with the seamed accents striped across the piped pockets. It has shoulder pads and a deep V-neck collar, meant to flatter the shoulders and accentuate the waist. The stunning buttons are formed plastic buttons, and the buttonholes are reinforced. All buttons present. It's extraordinarily flattering and reduces the appearance of your waist with a curvy trimmed waistline
The finishing on this jacket is astounding and can rarely be found anymore. This jacket used to sell for minimum $600+ retail when new. It can be worn to the office and than out for a night out on the town.
There is very minor wear to the jacket and buttons. Jacket is made out of rayon. The color is jet black. The jacket is used with minor wear, and was dry cleaned before placed into storage.
