Description

The listing, NEW LOT DOG TOYS TENNIS BALLS, SQUEAKY CHICKEN, + ROPE BALL TUG TOY IN MEMORY OF DAISY has ended.

Our Dog Daisy passed away last month after being hit by a car. I couldn't bare another day without having another dog to love. Especially a Black Lab. I was searching Craigslist and found a Black Lab that was a couple months old that needed a home. He wasn't that far away from my house. He is just a wonderful puppy. He is so happy. When my girls got their bunk beds. I gave Marley my daughter's toddler bed to sleep on. He is sooo spoiled. I went out shopping for some new dog toys for Marley to have. He has so much fun playing with them. So Instead of Making one dog happy, I am making 2 dogs Happy in memory of my Sweet Daisy that passed away. That is Marley in the 1st Picture the day we brought him home. Daisy is in the last picture. We miss her so much.

We love our new addition, he is so much like family. He has really helped us cope with our loss. I tell Marley everyday I love you, and he barks back like "I love you too". It's so funny.

I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved Daisy. It can often be a very emotionally trying time with the loss of a dearly loved pet, and in fact some people, and known fact grieve harder and deeper of the loss of a pet than a human family member. I am involved on FB with many animal advocates and rescues, and I have sat here in tears countless times looking at the pictures of the unwanted furbabies in shelters who so desperately need rescued and are on death row and worse the folders of the Gone But Not Forgottens when I had so much hope for them to be rescued. I have taken a break once again recenty from it because I do get too emotionally involved, but I always return to cross-post and help let these poor babies be seen, I adopted a Pit Bull (mix) I saw at one of the city shelthers in NYC on the to be destroyed list. Someone thankfully rescued him before he was killed that day, and I then adopted him from that person. Him and his GF are wonderful people, they even drove him down to me over 5 hours (Feb. 26 he come to us) to make sure he would be in a good place and to spend time with us, and are planning a visit again in the near future. He is such a wonderful boy- He totally LOVES cats, we recently got a little kitten she is about 9 - 11 weeks and so tiny compared to him who is 80 pounds, and he loves her up lol or tries when he kisses her he knocks her over!
Daisy is with you always ... just look in your memories and heart you will feel her love x0x

Thank you so very much for your Wonderful comment! That was really nice what those people did for that Pit Bull. He now has a second chance. It's very sad to see that these shelter's put animals to death. They should all have loving family's. I went to my local animal shelter but they ask too much money for their animals. In this economy we can barely take care of our own needs let alone ask $80.00 for a dog. Especially when the land that the shelter is on is my landlords property. He gave it to them for the shelter. I just don't understand. Why are they being so greedy? I'm thinking they are animal hoarder's.

It really is very sad :*( However, the root of the problem goes back to pet owners who do not spay and neuter, people breeding for profit - when we have 6 million pets in shelters being killed a year :( There just is not enough room for all of them it is a very sad situation.

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together, never to be separated again.

I just read Rainbow Bridge and I can't stop crying now!!! My first loss was a beautiful Ragdoll kitten named Savannah, 11 months old, who had a heart condition. My last was 3 years ago, who passed away the same day I got let go from my job. Life goes on and yes, someday I will be reunited with them all and walk over the Rainbow Bridge together.

Daisy wasn't even a year old when she died. Marley is a few months old. He doesn't like being outside in the cold. So he's been staying in the house.

That is so sad! I contacted the lady that gave us Daisy about what happened to her. She said after she gave away all the puppies Daisy's Mom was stolen. Her mom was part Australian shepherd/Black Lab. My husband and I were going to offer her $$ to have her breed her dogs so we could have another one.

I am here just bawling after reading the Rainbow Bridge...my kids were babies when we got our dog, Chewie, he grew up with them so when he died at age 14 it was such a very heartfelt loss and still is to this day. My kids are 24 and 20 and we still talk about Chewie and cry so hard and it feels like the loss happened yesterday. That tribute is very comforting and so sorry for the loss of Daisy. fanned ya :)
and thank you Dustie for your contribution :)
